Coach Ageton grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota but managed to find a home in Lincoln after attending Doane College.  Coach Ageton's love for the game started in high school.  His high school didn't have a football team but did field a soccer team in the fall.  So, Friday nights were spent on the pitch rather than the gridiron.  He continued with soccer in college starting as a manager and working up to assistant women's coach in his time at Doane.  After college Ageton started teaching special education at Hartley Elementary, where he remains today, and took over the girls JV job after Coach Siedhoff moved.  When the boy's varsity job at LSE opened he moved into that position and built the team from a 2-17 finish his first year to 12-7 in his final season.  Along the way the Knights earned: 1 state tournament birth, 1 district championship, 2 district runner-ups, 2 conference runner-ups, 1 conference third place, and were ranked in the top 10 in the state for two consecutive years.  During that time Coach Ageton earned several coaching certifications from the NSCAA including: Regional Diploma, National Diploma, and Goalkeeping levels I and II.

Coach Ageton is fortunate to be married to an understanding wife, Kristin, who allows him to spend so much time coaching.  They are expecting their first child in late September.  Stay tuned for details!

Ashley Siedhoff is a native of Seattle, Washington, but she grew up primarily in Omaha, Nebraska.  She started playing soccer at age five, and went on to play two years on the JV team and another two on the Varsity team at Millard North High School…a long time ago!  She continued playing intramural soccer throughout her years at UNL, where she received a degree in Secondary Education teaching English and English Language Learners.

In 2006 she student taught at Southeast and volunteered as the girls varsity assistant coach.  The next year she accepted the position as the head coach for the JV team at Southeast, but unfortunately, had to leave after one season of coaching because she moved out of state.  Coach Siedhoff returned to coach at Southeast after living in New York City for five years, so she has been back with the Knights since 2012.

This is her second year teaching English Language Learners at Lincoln High School, which she loves and which keeps her very busy!  She is married and has an adorable 15 month old son, named August, and she is looking forward to another year of excellence coaching Southeast soccer
